Dear Juneau Pet Grooming clients,
Owning and operating Juneau Pet Grooming has been one of the most rewarding achievements of my life. Each and every one of you (both pets and humans) are like family to me.
As many of you are aware, I have been spending increasingly more time caring for my sick mother and recently learned I need hip surgery that will require some amount of recuperation. I can no longer continue operations as a solo groomer. I have tried unsuccessfully to recruit another groomer for a long time. After many weeks of consideration and reflection, I have determined that the best way to continue serving you is to accept the position of Grooming Salon Manager at the new Petco in the Nugget Mall. In this new capacity I will be able to continue offering the personal experience that you have come to expect as well as train and manage a growing grooming team that can serve you with expanded hours. The Grooming Salon at the new Petco is a fantastic facility with state of the art equipment, and I am looking forward to beginning this new chapter.
Having lived in Juneau most of my life, I have seen large chains come and go, and I believe in shopping local. Petco operates with a local community focus and compensates all of its groomers on commission, keeping your grooming dollars local. I hope that you will come with me to Petco so that I can continue seeing you and your furry family members. I want you to be part of my vision of an expanded professional grooming facility serving you with a team of grooming professionals.
Petco has a requirement that dogs and cats being grooming MUST have proof of current rabies vaccination. If you don't have it, your vet can provide that for you.
I can no longer provide services at Snipe Court and cannot make appointments at the old phone number. If you had an existing appointment with me, I will contact you to confirm the time or arrange a new one. To make future appointments, please call the Petco Grooming number at 907-586-5094.
